In our world, it’s easy to take for granted. In Nepal’s remote communities, including the Khumbu Valley, education is pretty dire and the economic future for young people equally so.

In 2012, following their own successful Everest expedition, a group of volunteers set up Supporting Nepal’s Children to ‘bring quality education to the remote Nepali villages so that their children can flourish, learn new skills, and create opportunities for themselves whilst staying within their own community.’

Through my own expedition, I’m supporting their mission to improve the future of young people I hope to meet on my way.
